At the end of September, we will be welcoming school administrators from across the state for IASA’s 58th Annual Conference at the BOS Center in Springfield, September 28–30. Our keynote speakers this year will be Chris Singleton and Damon West. Singleton is a former baseball player who will share a message of resilience and forgiveness about the loss of his mother in the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church Tragedy. Damon West has a powerful and inspirational story about redemption. In 2009, he was sentenced to 65 years in prison for robberies he committed to support his drug habit.
