Pensions— The Alliance supports HB 350 and SB 60 that return the 3% end-of-career pension limitation back to 6%. Teacher Shortage— The Alliance supports addressing the current licensing procedures regarding residency, teacher performance assessments, and testing to remove any unnecessary hurdles that may be discouraging students from entering teaching programs.
