IASA DIRECTORS OF ACADEMIC EMPOWERMENT

IASA’s Directors of Academic Empowerment provide no-cost, personalized support to Illinois school districts through a partnership with the Illinois State Board of Education. This team of experienced educational leaders works directly with superintendents to strengthen district performance and accelerate student achievement.

Services Available • Strategic Planning – Facilitating the development of clear, actionable roadmaps for district improvement. • Review of Instructional Programming – Evaluating current instructional practices and aligning them with best practices and student needs. • Coordination of Culture/Climate Surveys – Assessing the learning environment to identify strengths and areas for growth. • SEL Programming Support – Guiding the development or refinement of social-emotional learning initiatives. • Any Initiative Designed to Accelerate Academic Improvement – Providing tailored support for other district-identified priorities focused on student achievement. 28
