Coaching for Leaders is an 8-day leadership development academy designed to build your competence and con fidence as a leader who coaches others to higher levels of performance. Built on a foundation of transformational leadership principles, key distinctions about human behavior, and research-based leadership practices, this academy gives you a proven coaching framework as the roadmap for creating sustainable change in yourself and in the peo ple you lead. When you grow as a leader, so do the people around you — and ultimately, the students they serve. Participants will develop the coaching competencies necessary to strengthen relationships, improve commu nication, foster growth in others, and create sustainable change within their schools and districts. You will gain practical tools and strategies that can be immediately applied to enhance leadership effectiveness, develop staff capacity, and support organizational success. Dr. Nancy Blair is a familiar face to many Illinois administrators through her work with the IASA School for Advanced Leadership, where she helped develop and shape leadership programming for school administrators across the state. She brings decades of experience in leadership development and coaching research to this program, with a focus on servant leadership, transformational change, and social justice. She has authored multiple books on leadership development. Sandye Brown is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and CEO of Wide Awake, with deep expertise in helping leaders create sustainable personal and organizational change. She has worked alongside Illinois administrators through the IASA School for Advanced Leadership. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, she has trained, coached and mentored thousands of leaders across numerous industries, and holds one of approximately 750 Master Certified Coach designations awarded worldwide by the International Coach Federation. Coaching for Leaders is led by two nationally recognized experts in transformational leadership and coaching.
